A man armed with a hammer made off with a sum of money from a shop in Lurgan after threatening a staff member.
The incident occurred on the Lough Road yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, October 3) shortly before 3.30pm.
The man is described as being approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build. He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured bottoms. The man made off on foot in the direction of Victoria Street.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to contact detectives at Lurgan on 101 quoting reference 777 03/10/18.
