A man armed with a knife threatened two women working in a shop in north Belfast before making off with a small sum of cash.
The robbery happened at a shop on the Antrim Road yesterday afternoon (Saturday 22 February) at around 3pm. The two employees were left badly shaken following the incident.
The man is described as being aged in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 8” in height and of medium build. He was wearing a blue/navy jacket with the hood up, and navy track bottoms.
Detective Sergeant Duffield said this was a terrifying ordeal, which has left the members of staff understandably badly shaken.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area, who witnessed any suspicious activity, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to get in touch on 101 quoting reference number 1102 of 22/02/20,” added the Detective Sergeant.
