Detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF), investigating suspected criminal activity linked to the Belfast INLA, have recovered a quantity of drugs and cash, and arrested a man following a search in Antrim on Friday 7th August.
The 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B controlled drugs, money laundering, and child cruelty, following the discovery of drugs hidden in a young child’s bedroom. He has since been released on bail to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
The drugs were recovered with the help of Police dogs Kodi and Larry.

Detective Inspector Cathy O’Hara said: “With the help of our partners, we remain committed to removing dangerous drugs from our neighbourhoods and to protecting our communities.
“Today’s seizure and arrest demonstrates the PCTF’s commitment to tackling all types of organised criminality linked to paramilitaries.
“We rely upon the support of local people and would encourage anyone with information, or concerns, to contact us on 101.”
