A 29-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged assault on a woman in Ballycastle.
The 27-year-old victim was injured after she was allegedly attacked with a metal bar on Fairhill Street at around 1.45am this morning (Sunday).
Detectives from PSNI Public Protection Branch who are investigating the incident, are appealing for witnesses.
They are especially keen to hear from three men believed to have been in the area at the time.
