A 25-year-old man has been arrested by police following an attack on a house in Carrickfergus this afternoon (Monday, October 29).
He was detained by officers responding to reports that windows had been broken at a house in Rockfergus Avenue.
He remains in custody at present.
Police are investigating a link to an attack on a vehicle parked at another house on the same street early on Sunday morning (October 28).
A 38-year-old man appeared in court this morning in connection with the incident.
Superintendent Darrin Jones said police are aware that these incidents have caused tension in the local area and he is appealing for ‘cool heads’ while police investigate.
