A man has been arrested by police investigating the deaths of a man and woman in north Belfast.
Their bodies were discovered in a flat in Kinnaird Close on Monday afternoon.
The 35-year-old man, arrested as part of the investigation, has been taken to Musgrave Police Station for questioning.
A postmortem is due to be carried out on the bodies.
The officer leading the investigation Detective Chief Inspector Peter Montgomery said police received a report from a member of the public just before 1pm.
“The circumstances of the deaths will now be subject to investigation and post mortem examinations will take place in due course.
“At this stage it would not be appropriate to elaborate further on the circumstances as our enquiries are at an extremely early stage,” he added.
