Detectives investigating shots being fired in the Divis area of West Belfast last Monday arrested a 35 year old man in Newtownabbey under the Terrorism Act.
The man was arrested in the Newtownabbey area last night (Friday 24 May) on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation. He has been released unconditionally.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing and police continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact police on 101 or alternatively, information can be provided anonymously by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
