A man has died in a crash involving a car and a lorry in Straid, near Ballyclare.
The two-vehicle collision on the Carrickfergus Road happened near the Ballylagan Road in Ballynure, and was reported to police at approximately 9:15am this morning (Monday 11 January).
Emergency services, including police, attended the scene. Sadly, the man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who captured it on their dash cam. Please call 101 and quote reference number 285 of 11/01/21.
Officers remain at the scene this afternoon, conducting their enquiries, and the Ballylagan Road and Carrickfergus Road will both remain closed for some time.
