A 33-year-old man is due in court next month in connection with an incident in Belfast on Sunday evening when a laser was shone at a police aircraft.
He has been charged with endangering the safety of an aircraft.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on 8 January.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
