A man has impaled his thigh after falling from a roof onto railings below.
The NI Air Ambulance along with police, and fire and ambulance personnel attended the scene in Larne.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment for what police say is ‘a nasty injury.’
This incident has prompted the PSNI to warn people about the dangers of drinking.
It’s not known how the man came to be on the roof.
“No matter how much alcohol or sun you absorb this weather, think of the consequences of your actions,” said a police spokesperson.
