A man in his 20s was injured in a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on the Antrim Road, near the junction with Limestone Road in north Belfast last night (Thursday, October 28).
Police on patrol in north Belfast came across the collision between the car and the motorbike at around 11:45pm.
Sergeant Prentice said officers, assisted by the public, provided First Aid at the scene before a Northern Ireland Ambulance Service crew arrived.
One man, aged in his twenties, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.
The road, which was closed after the collision, has now reopened.
“We are very grateful to those who assisted at the scene and as our enquiries continue, we would ask anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have dashcam or other footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 2267 of 28/10/21,” said Sergeant Prentice.
