The motorcyclist who died in a crash in North Antrim on Thursday was former Ulster and Ireland rugby international David Tweed.
Mr Tweed (61) died in the crash at Whitepark Road near Dunseverick. The crash happened at around 4.30pm.
Mr Tweed served as a councillor for the DUP and later the TUV.
In 2016, convictions for child sex abuse were quashed by the Court of Appeal in Belfast and Mr Tweed was released from custody four years into an eight-year sentence.
