A man in his 60s has been arrested after a bin was reportedly pushed against the door of a property in Ballymena and set alight.
The incident happened in the Princes Street area around 2:15am this morning (Sunday 27 June).
Detective Sergeant Lenaghan said a number of people were in the property at the time of the incident.
“A man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident, and anyone who may have any information is asked to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 321 of 27/06/21,” added the Detective Sergeant.
