A man in his 70s has died following a collision in Ballynure on Friday evening (December 20).
A black Porsche Cayenne mounted a roundabout on the Belfast Road and collided with a lorry at around 6:30pm.
The man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
The Belfast Road had been closed but has since reopened.
Collision Investigation Unit, Inspector Cherith Adair said: “Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information or dash cam footage available, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1323 – 20/12/24.”
