A man in his 40s is in a critical condition in hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in an assault in Larne last night.
Officers investigating the reported incident at Laharna Retail Park have arrested four men aged 25, 29, 31 and 45 on suspicion of attempted murder. All four men are currently in custody assisting with police enquiries.
Police say a report was received at around 9.30pm on Monday evening that a man, aged in his 40’s, had been allegedly assaulted by a number of men.
