A man in his fifties was stabbed in the thigh following an incident in Moneymore yesterday afternoon (Saturday, 27 February).
Police say two men forced entry to a house in Woodvale Crescent just after 2.30pm.
The occupant was assaulted, sustaining a stab wound to his thigh.
Two men, aged 27 and 54 years old, arrested following the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen a black VW Passat to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1115 of 27/02/21,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
