A man has been shot in the leg in Cyprus Place, Carrickfergus.
The incident happened at around 10pm last night (Sunday).
The man was taken to hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds to the leg.
Inspector Beverlie Reid is appealing for witnesses.
”I would appeal to anyone with any information which could assist police with their enquiries to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 2045 26/07/20. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111,” she added.
