A man has sustained a broken jaw after being attacked by a gang at Cavehill Country Park.
The incident happened on Wednesday, April 24 at around 8pm – however police have just released details.
Police say the man was attacked by a group of three to four men.
The assault took place at the Upper Cavehill Road exit. The men initially shouted over at him and he walked off.
“They proceeded to follow him launching a vicious attack, resulting in a broken jaw. It is believed these men were in their mid 20s and local, due to their accents. Any information in relation to this assault would be greatly appreciated,” said a police spokesperson.
