The man who died following a single vehicle collision on the Five Mile Straight in Draperstown this afternoon (Friday, August 14) was Hugh Vincent McWilliams.
Mr McWilliams was the Managing Director of Ballinascreen company H&A Mechanical Services.
The collision happened at around 1.10 pm. The road has now reopened.
Mr McWilliams was the driver of the vehicle.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Inspector Gavin Sterling said: “Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 956 14/08/20.”
