A masked man in his 50s has escaped with a sum of cash after forcing a till open with a screwdriver at a shop on the Shankill Road in Belfast on Sunday (25 October).
Just before 6pm, the man entered the store and approached a female staff member.
He man produced a large screwdriver and threatened the worker.
The worker was able to escape into a staff room along with another colleague. The robber then used the screwdriver to force open the till before making off with a sum of money.
The robber is described as in his 50s and around 5ft 8” tall. He was wearing jeans, a navy or grey jacket with a white stripe, a dark flat cap, a blue and white face covering and blue surgical gloves.
