Mayor’s carnival parade in Lisburn – in pictures

The Mayor’s Carnival Parade took place in Lisburn yesterday (Saturday, May 12).

It was one of the events which will be taking place over the coming months to celebrate the 200th birthday of Sir Richard Wallace.

A highlight of the festivities was Mayor’s carnival parade. The floats and creations depicted Sir Richard Wallace’s legacy to the city in an unrivalled display of street arts and creativity.
Carrying on the Carnival’s celebrations was a family fun day, in Wallace Park.
