The Mid-Ulster School of Music in Magherafelt held its prizegiving yesterday.

Patron Oliva Nash congratulated all the students who had performed so well throughout the year:

Jake McNeil, Music Education Cup winner with Olivia Nash and Heather Loughridge, tutor.
The Tohill family with the Guitar Cup.
Sara Semple receives the Singing Cup for Distinction at Grade 8. She is pictured with Olivia Nash.
The Piano Cup was awarded to Nicole Tang.
The Lynne McGeehan Cup went to Ava McErlain.
The youngest pupil to sit an exam was Ciara McGuigan. She received her award from Rachel McBride, tutor.
The Violin Cup went to Holly Dougan.
The Mid-Ulster School of Music Cup went to Eloise Ruddell.
All the certificate winners with a 100 per cent pass rate – the majority receiving distinctions.
