Police and search and rescue teams were in the Lakeview area of Mossley, near Carnmoney yesterday (Saturday) in connection with their investigation into missing man Robert Holmes.
Search and rescue teams are currently scouring the dam beside the Lakeview development and teams of volunteers are exploring the surrounding estates.
The North Belfast man who is 42-years-old was last seen at Lakeview Avenue shortly after 12:50pm on Wednesday (October 17).
Robert is described as being around 6ft tall, of slim build with blue eyes. He has dirty fair hair and facial stubble.
He was believed to have been wearing a dark, waterproof coat, a grey/black hooded top and a green beanie style hat.
Police are appealing to Robert, or anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts, to make contact with police by calling 101, quoting reference number 557 17/10/18.
