They surveyed 2886 European adults, asking them to identify the fictional house they’d describe as a ‘dream home’ and which they would like, if given the chance to live in.
Perhaps completely unsurprising, but the fictional house getting the most votes was Wayne Manor (65%). And who wouldn’t like to live there to be fair? Batman’s manor is spacious, opulent and has a secret room, however it’s good to keep in mind that the bills would also be substantial.
In second place comes The Burrow with 61% of people voting for it, and all Harry Potter fans know this is the name for Ron Weasley’s house. Who can blame those wanting to live in a wizard’s house? We all need a little bit of magic in our lives.
Lord of the Rings’ Bag End comes third with 60% of votes, followed by the Balloon House in Up with 58% and Sponge Bob’s house on 124 Conch Street with 54%.
Of less interest are the Simpson’s House (38%) and the House in the Middle of Nowhere (21%) from Courage the Cowardly Dog, which is rather understandable when you think about the bizarre events happening there.
