The motorcyclist who died following a two vehicle collision at Ballyblack Road East in Newtownards, was 66-year-old Alisdair Wallace from the Kircubbin area.
Tragically, the motorcyclist died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Inspector Robinson is appealing for information.
“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or why may have dash cam footage available, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1467 of 01/04/21,” he added.
