Motorist who died in Antrim crash was Andrew Millar

The motorist who died following a single vehicle crash on the Ballyhill Road in Antrim yesterday (Wednesday, June 16) was 32-year-old Andrew Millar from Belfast.

A female passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment for non life-threatening injuries. A silver BMW 3 Series was involved in the crash.


The incident happened shortly before 5.30pm.

Inspector Patton said sadly, Mr Millar was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and I would ask anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam footage to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1481 of 16/06/21.
