A murder enquiry has been launched following the discovery of the body of a man in north Belfast on Saturday (23 May).
A 34-year-old man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday, 27 May) on a murder charge.
The Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Darren McCartney said it follows the results of a post-mortem examination.
The man’s body was discovered in a house in Oakley Street in north Belfast shortly before 11pm on Saturday.
“The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details available at this time,” added Detective Chief Inspector Darren McCartney.
