Mystery remains over the origin of the graffiti daubed all over Norwich in tribute to actor and comedian Les Dennis.
The Family Fortunes star took to Twitter to deny having anything to do with the unusual artwork.
‘Les Dennis’ has been daubed on walls all over Norwich.
Les told LBC radio station that the perpetrator was a ‘low-rent Banksy’.
And it’s caught the attention of social media users who have posted their own pics.
Art it comes in many forms
Paintings, photos, dance
We realise how great it is
Quite often at first glance
Usually graffiti though
Can be a proper menace
But I think it’s rather cool
When it just says Les Dennis

A small piece of creative art advice for @LesDennis Next time you decide to brighten the walls of Norwich
Try using the Dulux High Gloss instead of the matt as it stands out more on brick and concrete & in my opinion far more difficult to remove without industrial cleanser 🤣
