Marks & Spencer has confirmed its Christmas food ordering service will not be available to customers in Northern Ireland this year.
The company said there was ‘too much risk’ it could let customers down here.
The festive food ordering service is used by thousands in Northern Ireland, allowing customers to place orders through click and collect.
M&S initially said the Irish Sea border was creating difficulties with stock.
Regrettably, we’re unable to offer customers in Northern Ireland our Christmas Food to Order service this year. At M&S, we want to make this Christmas a magical one for all our customers. Given the current challenges in the food industry, there was too much risk that we could potentially let customers down with key items in their orders ahead of the all-important big day – we’d never want to do that.
