The funeral of Nora Quoirin, who was found dead in Malaysia during a family holiday, will be held on Tuesday, September 10 in St Brigid’s Church in Derryvolgie Avenue in south Belfast.
It is the church in which Nora was baptised.
Nora’s body was discovered last month less than two miles from The Dusun resort, where she had been on holiday with her parents and two siblings.
As previously reported on South Antrim Vox, her funeral will take place at 1pm.
Following her disappearance, Nora’s mother Meabh who was born in Belfast, made a heartfelt appeal to find Nora as a £10,000 reward – donated by an anonymous Belfast business – was offered for information leading to her safe return.
Nora was born with the brain defect holoprosencephaly and had special needs.
The night she arrived at the resort, Nora had gone to sleep with her two younger siblings. Her father Sebastien discovered her missing at around 8.30am, the next morning. A window was found wide open. There was no evidence of forced entry.
Nora’s family insist she was abducted and they say there are many unanswered questions.
