A woman in her 30s sustained serious facial injuries after a man forced his way into a house in north Belfast and assaulted her and two men – one aged in his 20s and the other in his 30s.
Detectives are investigating the attack on the three people at an address in Ainsworth Street just after midnight on Saturday (25 May).
They are appealing for information.
Detective Inspector McDonnell said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave police station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1798 25/05/2019.”
