Nurse who had just finished night shift gave First Aid to those involved in Ballyclare crash

A nurse who had just finished her nightshift stopped on the Hillhead Road in Ballyclare to give first aid to those involved in a crash yesterday morning (Thursday).

Thankfully there were no serious injuries but the Air Ambulance attended the crash as a precaution.

Police want to publicly thank the nurse who assisted the officers at the scene, the members of Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, and Ambulance Service crews as well as the Air Ambulance.

Police also want to thank DRD, Agnew’s Recovery and residents who assisted with the road clean-up operation.

“A proper team effort all round and a good outcome, particularly at this time of year,” added a police spokesperson.
