One death and 33 new cases of COVID-19

Another person has died and 33 more people have tested positive for COVID-19.

It comes as some lockdown restrictions will be eased from Monday, the Executive has said.

The Northern Ireland death toll now stands at 535.

This most recent death occurred within the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health.

Meanwhile, there are concerns that people are congregating in groups. Police say they have received reports of young people grouping together and using anti-social behaviour in the Portrush/Portstewart areas.

And queues for fast food giant McDonald’s were lengthy around Northern Ireland as people headed out for burgers and chips.

There were dozens of vehicles in a queue on the approach to the re-opened McDonald's drive-thru in Ballymena at 4pm on Wednesday.
