‘One of the most kind, hard working, loving men you would ever meet’

The sister-in-law of Johnny Scott who lost his life after being hit by a car near Coleraine on Sunday night has said he was a kind, hard working, and loving man.

The father-of-two was killed as he was walking along the Quilly Road between Articlave and Coleraine at around 6:45pm.

Mr Scott’s sister-in-law Jo-Leigh Graham said she was ‘devastated.’

“Johnny was one of the most kind, hard working, loving men you would ever meet and he was the best husband Lisa could have ever asked for, and a brilliant dad to Rocco and Axel and also a brilliant godfather for Cassie,” she wrote.

Mr Scott is originally from Newtownstewart.

The funeral takes place in Christ Church, Castlerock on Thursday afternoon followed by interment in St Paul’s Parish Churchyard, Articlave.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. Last night I lost my brother in law, my sister lost her…
