Organised fights have been planned for the North Belfast area this evening, according to police.
They are warning young people not to get involved in anti-social behaviour.
The North Belfast area has experienced incidents of criminal behaviour over the past few months.
“Do not get involved in this behaviour or you could end up getting arrested and a criminal record,” said a police spokesperson.
The PSNI will have its evidence gathering camera truck available to assist and will be engaging with people around Ardoyne, Deerparks, New Lodge, Cliftonpark Avenue and the Waterworks area.
“Respect the area you are in and if you plan on travelling here to cause trouble then don’t bother!” added the spokesperson.
Police have had to consistently remind parents to be aware of where their children are at all times. Anti-social behaviour has been an on-going issue in not only north, but also west Belfast.
