Paint has been thrown at a window of a house in east Belfast in what police are treating as a ‘sectarian hate crime.’
The incident happened just after 9pm last night (Friday) at The Mount, just off Castlereagh Street.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
No-one was injured during this incident.
This incident is being treated by police as a sectarian hate crime.
Sergeant Foster added: “I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to contact police at Strandtown on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 864 13/12/19.
“Information can also be given to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
