The pedestrian who died following a collision on the Stewartstown Road in west Belfast on Friday (5 June) was Nuala Mackel.
Ms Mackel, who was aged 53 and from the Whiterock area sadly passed away in hospital.
The collision happened on Friday just after 6pm, close to Suffolk Day Centre.
A 49-year-old man arrested has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Inspector Philip McCullough is appealing for information.
