A pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast.
It is understood the woman involved is aged in her 60s.
The incident happened just before 11.25am.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Constable Burns said police received a report of the collision just before 11.25am this morning.
“We are appealing to anyone with may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 683 of 09/09/19.
“We’re particularly grateful to a female who pointed emergency services to the exact location, and would ask that she gets in touch to share any information,” added the Constable.
The Upper Newtownards Road has now reopened.
