Pizza Express is set to cut a further 1,300 jobs after the number of diners fell due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
The company said the jobs will be cut from its 370 UK restaurants through both compulsory and voluntary redundancies.
Just two months ago, the pizza chain said it would axe 1,100 roles and close 73 of its restaurants.
No further restaurants will close as part of these latest cuts.
The chain said city centre sites have been ‘particularly hard-hit’ by the reduction in diners.
