Four men with their faces covered were seen at Forthill Drive in Ballyduff near Carnmoney in Newtownabbey last night (Tuesday) around 6:30pm.
Detectives in Antrim are appealing for witnesses following the report of suspicious activity.
Three men are believed to be in their 20s, around 5ft 10” in height and they were wearing dark clothing, including scarves and hats.
A fourth man was said to be slightly taller than the others, and aged in his mid 20s. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing light-coloured trainers, dark trousers and a dark jacket with a gold crest on the left hand side. All four were wearing gloves.
Inspector Gilbert is appealing to anyone who was in the area around 6.30pm last night and saw this group of men or witnessed any suspicious behaviour, to get in touch with police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1033 of 5/2/19.
