Police investigating a collision on the Ballylesson Road in Lisburn which claimed the life of a motorcyclist last Saturday (20th June) have renewed their appeal for witnesses.
The crash occurred at around 2.10pm at the junction with Mill Road and involved a white Hyundai car and silver Kawasaki motorcycle.
Police in particular want to speak with the driver of a Silver Nissan X Trail that was travelling on the Hillhall Road/Ballylesson Road around 2pm.
A 57-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inspector Darren Hardy said: “Police continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured the collision on their dash cam, to get in touch with us. I am particularly keen to speak with the driver of a Silver Nissan X Trail that was travelling on the Hillhall Road/Ballylesson Road around 2pm on Saturday as they may be a potential witness to the collision.
