Police have asked for another year of funding in the search for missing Madeleine McCann, according to reports.
The Metropolitan Police has asked the Home Office for the money, says Sky News.
Madeleine McCann from Leicester disappeared on May 3, 2007 from her holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, a resort in the Algarve area of Portugal. It sparked one of the biggest missing persons investigations in history. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
