A new road improvement scheme costing almost a quarter of a million pounds will begin on Monday in Steeple Road in Kells.
Resurfacing starts at the Lislunnan Road junction and extends towards Kells village.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
The resurfacing works will begin on Monday, June 4 and this will require road closures and diversions which will be fully signed.
