Householders in Ballyclare are being warned to be vigilant as there have been continued attempts to scam people.
Police have issued a warning about texts being sent from a person going by the name of ‘Gerry.’
Writing on Facebook, police stated: A few days ago we updated our followers in relation to a telephone cold call scam from persons claiming to be from the Fraudulent Transactions Department of Danske Bank. Again the name of Gerry was given and a txt sent to your mobile , please don’t get caught out.
