Scammers have struck over 100 times in Northern Ireland in November, with some people being conned out of five and six figure sums.
Police say October and November have been particularly bad months for scams.
Figures show there have been nine doorstep scams and 104 internet cons during November alone. Scammers have conned people out of cash on 22 occasions by post, and 229 by telephone.
Police say scammers will not go away and that they will continue to prey on vulnerable people.
“Please like and follow it for your own sake, for the sake of your family and for those members of our community who will look to you for advice on the issue,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
Most recently, the PSNI prevented a Co Down woman from being scammed out of £107,000.
