A firearm has been recovered following a search of land at Baladoogh Lane in Kildress, near Cookstown.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit carried out the search today (Tuesday, 8 December).
The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into the activities of the New IRA.
