There’s a security alert in the Whitewell area of north Belfast.
Police are currently at the scene of the alert at Mulderg Drive, near the Whitewell Road, following the discovery of a suspicious device in the area this afternoon (Thursday, 30 January).
A number of homes have been evacuated and part of Mulderg Drive and Gunnell Hill have been cordoned off.
There are no further details at this time.
