Seven more deaths and 69 new cases of COVID-19

Seven more people have sadly died after testing positive for COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.

Seventy patients have passed away after contracting the disease.


A further 69 confirmed cases were also confirmed by the Public Health Agency.

A total of 8,740 tests have been carried out across Northern Ireland.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases now stands at 1,158.

The number of global cases is nearing 1.3 million, including more than 70,000 fatalities. Over 270,000 patients are reported to have recovered.

The Twelfth has also been cancelled.

Police meanwhile are carrying out patrols around businesses which are closed as a result of the outbreak.
