Shots were fired through the front door of a house in Blenheim Drive in Newtownards on Sunday night (August 9).
The incident happened shortly after 11.30pm.
There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, to contact them in Bangor on 101 quoting reference number 2558 09/08/20.
