A rally is to be held in West Belfast following the attacks on the homes of former Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams and senior republican Bobby Storey.
Their homes were targeted in a late night attack on Friday.
The rally, organised by Sinn Fein, will take place tomorrow (Monday) at 7pm at the old Andersonstown Barracks site.
The event is also in support of residents of the Bogside in Derry/Londonderry who have witnessed six nights of sustained rioting.
Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald will be the main speaker, while Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey will also be present.
West Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Pat Sheehan said the attacks involving explosive devices on the homes of Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey were cowardly and reprehensible.
“Those involved are opposed to the peace process and the process of change.
“Sinn Féin will continue to represent this community and pursue our agenda for change, for peace and for a new agreed and united Ireland,” he added.
And he said Monday night’s rally is an opportunity for the people of Belfast to come out to show solidarity with the families of Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey and the people of the Bogside in Derry and send a message to those involved in attacks on Republicans and on the community to stop immediately.
